Crypton Upholstery Cleaners were the creation of many years of experience in the textile industry. After all, Crypton has been manufacturing upholstery fabrics since 1993, and has over 60 million yards of fabric installed throughout the world. The Crypton fabric line was created and launched by award winning entrepreneurs Craig and Randy Rubin and the upholstery world was revolutionized with the introduction of a superior engineered textile that provides stain resistance, microbial protection, and a permanent moisture barrier.
Crypton turned its attention to developing superior care and maintenance products when it became apparent there were no cleaners specifically designed for upholstery. Products that were available were mostly all purpose cleaners, and they left most stains behind after using them! The Crypton team of chemists and engineers evaluated cleaners on the market and none of them met our strict standards for total removal of stains. Crypton launched the Crypton Care division in 2002 when they hired Greg Hadfield, a chemical sales expert with 21 years of experience who directs the efforts for testing, production, training and sales initiatives.
